Hi,

isn't the West based on a Webra .50 GTHK ?? Anyhow, the Webra is the choice

- ringed AAR piston/liner combination
- much more power
- designed to run with low nitro rates

The West MUST have its special fuel mixture and its a much older design (ABC ringless).

Best regards

Gero

hi there because of the huge power and torque of the west the bearings dont last as long. my exprence is that the only last 6 months of hard 3d twice a week flying for about 4 hours but if you fly for less or less harder then i have seen these engines last for years

I'll let yall know how well they hold up in my Weston .36 and Weston .75

Anybody have a right hand header to fit my Weston .75????? I could really use one, and don't want to order from europe and pay in pounds.

Yeah.. should I keep a close eye on the ceramic rear in my west 75?
I would hate for it to fail and destroy the piston and sleeve that I worked soooo hard to break in properly.

I run West and Webra motors , but I would also take a look at the Rossi 53 .
