Just noticed a bunch of what looks like off yellow grease bunched up on top of one side of the swashplate. Is this normal? Has something broken internally and this leaked out? Alternatively, I can't think of where it came from unless always there. Also, the top half of the swashplate seems to have a fair bit of play, say about .5mm up and down. Is this normal?

It's obviuos TT has got some work to do on the head. It's engineared fine just the part are weak and flemsy. Slop and so forth. Need to get the tolerances better inho.

In my experience the parts work great - that just don't last. I had to replace several head pieces after ~50 flights after my blade tracking went south. The plastic parts just don't hold up. Get new pieces (washout base, upper mixing arms, and center hub are usual suspects) and things track again.

Thanks guys. Around the same time (about only 5-6 flights in) the tracking really went wonky! So I upgraded to Kasama head, TT metal washout and TT lower metal mixer. Only part not changed is the swashplate. Going to give it a flight later today and swap if too much slop, hopefully doesn't cause heli to go down.
