I do most of my flying in the winter months when work is slow for me. Last Winter the big thing being discussed was how great DN batteries were, especially since they were about half the price of Thunderpowers....

Well I bought 5 new Dn's and they didn't hold up. Puffed packs and will not put out the punch anymore, not really safe to fly anymore to be honest.

I need some new batteries now and wondering what I should get. Can't afford to buy the more expensive brands such as Flightpower or Thunderpower.

I bought my DN's from Readyheli.com I guess I should have emailed them with my dissatisifaction with the batteries I bought from them.

GyroRon,

There was a known issue with the DN Power 20C packs and Jun Xu of Xus Hobby was sending out replacements to those people who have the defective packs.

I would suggest you contact him to see if they can help you!

I bought mine months ago... certainly longer than 90 days ago, and I didn't keep a copy of my reciept.

I fly in the Fall / winter and barely fly at all during the spring Summer. These batterys have just sat collecting dust for months now. They are too weak to fly the Trex with, or my Multiplex jets..... I was saving them for use on my GWS Slowstick.

I would love to send them back for replacements if you think he would do that for me pending my circumstances

If you bought them from Readyheli, you should be able to login to your account on their site and print another copy of the invoice.

It can't hurt to at least give it a try....

So far I have lost 5 out of the 6 DN's this year alone.

Even the puny little 2S 900's for my CX puffed badly...

No more for me.

Mine are all puffed and about useless. I found where and when I bought them, it was back in Febuary.... And I stopped flying my models around April and didn't really mess with them again till the last week or so. I have a few Thunderpowers that are from back in 2005 that still work good. I think John at Readyheli is going to help me out on some new batteries. Going to probably get Kong powers to try next.

I sent back 2 puffed DN's and got them replaced. Just received them and the look different. The packaging says 20C 2150mAh but the sticker on the battery says 22C constant 2150mAh.

I haven't flown them yet because I've gotten spoiled by using the Air Thunder batteries. Since I purchased 4 of them from their Father's Day sale I haven't had to worry about timing a flight or puffing a pack. Just fly until they lose power. Only downside is they are a snug fit in my mini Titan.

Regards,
Don

STILL NEW IN THE BAG

Hi all, I have a couple of 20C lipos that I bought from ready heli about a year or so ago. Due to my schedule I have not had any time to use them, should I just ask for a replacement or try to use them and see what happens?

DN's just puff well, like other cheap batteries.

I would use them first and see what they do. You might have gotten some good ones, you won't know till you use them.

I sent my old ones to the distributor several weeks ago and haven't heard from him since. I am not sure if he is going to replace them or not.
