WOW a GeeBee is a scary bird to handle with a prop on it I can't imagine keeping it under control with a turbine. Skilled and gutsy pilot is all I can say. Kinda weird seeing a golden age plane sounding like a F-16 though

Probably a bit easier to handle than a prop version -- no torque.

True. The biggest problems I had with mine was taxi/takeoff and landing. I swear the nose had a ground magnet in it.
