Got my license today

And guess what, I only sped once by 5 mph because I was passing someone. I will admit I FLOORED it once (that sierra has some good grunt for just havin a 292 under the hood)...To me, it's important to know how the car you plan on driving will respond to hard acceleration and breaking. I also tested the breaks, etc.
Other than that...It was extremely hard for me not to speed wherever I went..Gotta keep that driving record clean so when I get my Z06 the ensurance won't be through the roof, right?

Yes, another 2006 z06. The guy who owns it traded in his Saleen Mustang and then bought one of those. Then he was going to take the lingenfelter (spl?) plant. Can you say burnt rubber?

I LOVE MY EVO!!!

A guy who owns a speed shop and they deal primarily with the Vette I believe.

I read a big article about his twin turbo z06 a few years back when the c5 z06 debuted.

Nice work TommyZ, I remember the day I got mine a few years ago. Called in sick to work and just drove all night. Five years later with no tickets or accidents. I'm going to recommend looking up your local BMW chapter and finding if they have any events around you for the street survival program. http://streetsurvival.org/streetsurvival/

I did 2-3 of these a year for about 2 years. I was able to push my car at the "track" so I had no need to do it on the street. Plus the events are fun you get slalom, emergency lane change, wet/ice skid pad, wet/ice slalom. I'm a instructor for these now and highly recommend it.
