Hi everone I would like to know if I should use a Digtal servo on a 50 heli. Its my scale Bell47. With a TT50 in it I have a reg. Futaba 3003 in it now and it seems to work OK. I am useing a digtal on the rudder. What does anyone think would like your answers. Thank You "Allways Againts The Wind"

Unless you are using a high performance gov that could make good use of a fast digital servo I can't see a reason. And for a scale rig, is any of that even necessary?

on a scale ship i wouldn't bother. i throw all my regects into my scale because all it ever does it hover and do a little forward flight. you dont need anything high performance.

i do though run a 9253 on the throttle of my 90 machine which also uses the TJ Revmax.

Different answer here - whether you are using a governor or not, I would recommend a good digital throttle servo on any expensive 50-sized or larger nitro heli. The governor is counting on it to meet its specs, and, using throttle curves, no governor, your radio could now use the help.

The benefit is "instantaneous" throttle response, consistent/repeatable engine power versus stick position, and the ability to really fine-tune your engine throughout the flight envelope.

My 2 cents..
