An educated guess would be that it's for the cyclic servos. It will allow the servo wheel to be more parallel to the main frame and inline with the bellcrank. In other words, the linkage will be parallel to the frame.

Common sense would say if it's for the throttle then it would come in a quantity of 1, if it was for the cyclic then it would come in a quantity of 3. Neither is true, know knows.

Think your right! Man align sure takes it personal when an aftermarket company makes parts for their heli's!! The bring out the same thing but you get two for the price of one!!

Seems like they do it for everything. Nothing wrong with that, usually everything is cheaper or X2 as it seems with all Align parts

Looks like its to add a small throttle mixture servo maybe a hs65 to adjust mixture in flight.

I guess it makes sense if its for the throttle. Since Jason Krause has his ghetto rigged, might as well make a special mount for that purpose.

They say 18g, which I take as an 18 or so gram servo, so that would be like a HS-81 or a HS-85. Or if you want to be like Jason Krause a Futaba S3155!

I would guess it is also for smaller servo`s.
The for self tapers hold the spacer to the frame and the two longer screws hold the servo to spacer.thats why the plastic captive hut plate has three holes this time not two.Could be wrong, normally am.

Aligns next big upgrade is a .4mm onlay of carbon or G-10 to glue to our stock frames.

They already have the beefed up frame pieces... makes the 2mm frames 4mm in a few spots

http://www.align.com.tw/shop/produc...roducts_id=1921

The pieces are for the throttle servo... It seems that they send two plates, but only enough screws and plastic pieces for one servo slot... It has to be for the throttle, maybe it sandwiches the HS81 between the two plates.....

But Honey, I can't live with just stock.....

My guess is that you would have to move the tail servo to the tail, then this adapter would allow you put a small servo in that hole for mixture adjustment... Hey, but I've been wrong before.. SHH.. don't tell my wife
