I inadvertantly closed my question before people could respond my qquestion is about puting in a slide switch between the ESC and battery to easily turn off the elctronics. Is this a good idea?

I wouldn't bother. Its extra weight and will cause a loss across it.

The Quark 33a ESC comes with a switch that does just that. I use it. The only real downside is that the switch draws a trickle current that can bleed the battery if left in? Been there, done that.

Thanks Pistol Pete, I did get your message. I think I will forgo using a switch. I don't think the weight is a big deal but it probably will drain the battery some. I have had some glitches with my HoneyBee cp and I am in the habit of disconnecting the battery after a landing. I just got a DX7 for this heli and I haven't set it up yet. I will have more questions no doubt. Thanks again.
