Hi

I have the T-Rex 600 Pro, and the problem is that it starts oscillation around the skids, and the hole body shakes sideways side to side in hover and FF when it is under 1800 even at 1600 RPM

But over this point at 1900 the Heli is 100% OK

Is it the dampers or else ??? - any advise will be helpful thanks

By the way I use the black dampers 80g on Aligns metal blade holder, outside temperature is 18 Celsius...
The tail is 100% stabile at all selected RMP

Harder dampners will cause this. I installed the Infinavations in my Pro and I had to bump the speed up to about 2000. How many flights are on this machine?

With time they will kind of "wear in"

I too was flying metal grips with black dampners and started getting a weird vibration. I checked all related head components such as bearings and links and all were good. I switched back to plastic grips and the problem went away. Could be head was too stiff, besides I've seen people runnning over 2 grand rpms and stick banging hard w/ plastic grips and they do fine. Also, check your blade and paddle balance, tracking and so forth, and check engine mixture, slight possibility your engine isn't transitioning well.

Hi

The Heli has around 10 flights so fare, blade and paddles are perfect, the engine is still to the rich side 1.1/4 out and 2.00 PM for the idle set to the lean side (20% nitro)

I now my favourite RMP is over this oscillation point, but I like to use Idle 1 when coming in to set down and so on…

Maybe it takes some time wear in. I will try to lubricate the o rings with some Teflon grease, and maybe try to put in a smaller shims.

Maybe try lubing the spindle, not the o-rings, also, is there a possibility your T/R shaft may be bent or a bad gear, or maybe the bearing around the torque tube slid closer to one end of the boom, I believe that could cause a vibration, I'm just guessing though, maybe even try to lean the motor out a bit, just keep an eye on the temperature.

or at the other end of the spectrum, if you like low head speeds which some people prefer, then just loosen the head with some softer dampers or plastic grips. Besides, There is still a possibility it is coming from somewhere else which is what happened to me

Hi and thanks for the info...

It takes some time to wear in. it still getting better, it help with the lubricate grease on the o rings.

Anyway I am very satisfied with this Heli , it just fly perfect and is a pleasure to have
