Hi Guys,

This is not really a helie thing but i hope you can help.

I have not been very successful in finding a solution for my project. I have a mate who wants to turn his crane which has a manual gymble in to a hot hear. So i want to be able to control the servos with a wired remote. I thought of trying to hack a ps2 controller but i am hoping someone has already making/selling something.

Does anyone know what options i have to controlling servos with a wired remote?

Cheers

Try

LynxMotion,

OR...try using your radio's "DSC function". I use mine to controll camera functions on top of my mast. Will work for hundreds of feet.

Thank you Chris; i will give them a try. The DSC is an option but i want to try and use somthing simple and less expensive.

ACE - it is only a small camera crane, which has a parallel axes and is attached to a large tripod.

The DSC function is pretty cheap, just an old RX without a crystal and a compatible switch harness and thats all.

Why reinvent the wheel??
