Switched to a 13t pinion, and am running flat throttle curve of 95% in gov. mode, and motor temps are still 135f and batt. temps are 130-135. Seems to hot for the type of flying I'm doing, very basic. Could it be my motor/ esc combo. Both are Align; 430L 3550kv and RCE BL 35G. Is there a more efficient set up. Not looking for more power, but cooler temps/ longer run times.Thanx.

A lower toothed pinion will drop the temps down at the cost of headspeed but I'd run it flat out at 100%. I had the same probs with an aon 3500 motor, you could almost fry your breakfast on the motor. Changed to a JGF 450th and never had a problem since running any pinion size but I'm only running an 11 tooth pinion at the moment so getting around 2300 headspeed. Makes it very stable tho and no tail issues with about 8 mins flight time leaving 20% in the batt which is a 18c 2100 revolution pack.

Oh and a phoenix 35 esc & 6v bec.
