It should work! Probably the only modification you would have to do is enlarge the servo slot, since the 8900 dimensions are slightly bigger.

I recommend the LogicTech 6100T/G. Cheap, small, light and holds incredibly well.

Hi All,

I have the 7703D in my TP5000 powered Swift and a 611 in my TRex600N. The 770 is a good gyro with nice slow piro rates, but in my opinion the stops are too abrupt. JRs recommendations are to add expo and turn down the gain to smooth out the stops. Both these adjustments affect your flying.

With the 611, you can adjust the stop rates and much more. You won't outgrow the 611. I like my 770 because of the small footprint for my electric. But if I could fit it in, I'd rather have the 611. The 611 does everything I could ask.

Keep 'em flying.

I have a Trex 600 Pro. I just removed the 611 and installed a 7703D. I wanted to give the 7703D a try and needed the weight savings. I have the entire heli on a 5.1 volt regulator.

As stated the servo mounting area needs a slight enlargement. The instructions want a starting point of 50% expo on the rudder. I found that even 50% expo on the rudder was still too touchy for me. Instructions also want the rudder ATV/travel to be maxed out. The piro rate is adjusted using the dual/triple rates on the rudder. 100% yielded insane piro rates for me. Servo is fast and strong. Tail lock was is good. Price was good.
