here is a very bad accident that happened with a trex 450.
I thought I'd share this with everyone...

Agreed...

One point though, he should still be able to fly with one eye (binocular vision is only good to 6 metres, so it shouldn't bother him except perhaps whilst landing).

But best be careful with that other eye.

Don't know how far Binocular vision is good til, but he should still be able to fly.

Just think about the SIM. Not much debth perception going on there ;o)

I know a real pilot who is allowed to fly with one eye, so surely you can fly RC Hellis.

Not 6 feet; 6 metres (about 18-20 feet). And I guess I should have said 'stereopsis' rather than binocular vision.

It's not that it theoretically couldn't work over longer ranges, but the vergence eye movements are too fine for us to discriminate effectively.
