I have been posed this question by many people and have come to the conclusion that buying a new 500 kit is best in the long run. You can buy piece parts to upgrade but by the time you add everything up, it's close to a full kit. By buying a kit, you also have most of your crash parts in in the L10.

Mikado is also selling the new kits with V-bar for a pretty good price.

Buy a Logo 500Dx and just use the parts needed and you will have lots of spares.

You can get a DX for $295 online.

I have both a Logo 10 3D with flybarless and a Logo 500 Flybarless.
The logo 500 flys more like a larger heli and it feel a little like you are flying a larger heli. My Logo 10 is converted so I can run 550mm main blades and I still like the logo 500.

I beleive I am going to put my logo 10 back to stock 500mm blades, including the stock head and continue to fly it that way because it hard to get any money out of them now the Logo 500 has been relesed
Besides I grow up "so to speak" on a logo 10 and I have a soft spot for them. I do fly the Logo 500 a lot more the the Logo 10

Hello

If you feel that you need a driven tail(I really with the L10 had a driven tail) then Id go for the L500. I find it very annoying to auto a L10 3d (mine is flybarless) because the tail is all over during the auto; other than that my Logo 10 flybarless is a ball to fly.

The only things I mildy dislike about the Logo is the frame is a tad heavier, they didnt make plate adaptors so that 9650's could be used, and they didnt throw in a free set of 500mm carbon blades. If your flying 500mm blades 9650 servos are all you need on cyclic.
