Is the 7703D gyro the equivilent of the logictec 6100T? Has anyone had issues with the logictec as it is very agressive as well and heard compared to the 611 needs about 40 to 50 percent expo to tame the tail?

Thanks

I wonder why the last topic disappeared?? I didnt think there was anything out of the ordinary in there???
My setup is very similar to Mikes Gain is at 62% so just into heading hold and it holds fine, expo is at 35% and rudder end points are set at about 80-90% from memory.

Agree very funny but sad that we loose good information. I guess if you see something valuable you should quote it but if YOU get ousted then what?

I guess the problem is if Mike starts a Topic and then gets removed the entire Topic and all the posts are removed.

Ok so what's the big deal about this gyro? It seems it's a bit tricky setting up for softer stops. Also you have to buy a separate servo correct? How much is the combo?

Why not the tried and true GY611?

This is interesting stuff..

A pro told me if you buy the 611, you will never buy another gyro. He is a 3D flier. I have seen him fly knife-edge drops from well over 100 feet, and the gyro holds coming out.

I am flying the JR 7000, and it is also something special. I am more of a big, open aerobatics type. It is fantastic at holding a heading, and stopping a yaw rate RIGHT NOW, but I can also do that tall drop, in side ways or tail-down attitude, and the nose stays put.

So I guess the Futaba boys will line up to their side, and the JR flock to theirs, and it sounds as if both camps will be happy.
