Guys,
How important are the tail control guides? I am almost done with my 600N build but I just realized I forgot to put them on. Should I take the tail apart and install them or is it safe to fly without them?
I don't think it is a bid deal but I wanted to get all of your valued opinions 1st.

Thanks

well, they are not a big deal, if you don't want any tail control!!!

Have you ever seen how much that rod bends, even with the guides....

Take it apart and put the guides on

Hell... I can fix that.
Uh oh..

Without the tail rod guides, you probably will not need the tail servo either.

Just fly into the wind, only. And you should be OK.

You will need the guides unless you went up to a larger diameter tail control rod I have a 5mm carbon rod on my gasser tail and still use 1 guide, but it's not needed. Without the guids, a smaller diameter tail rod with flex and maybe go into resonance sometimes at different transitions of the collective.....making the tail pretty unstable. So......put on the guides..

The guides are now on. I guess I was just being lazy. Thanks for the "virtual smack in the head" guys.
