I purchased a used KYOSHO CONCEPT 30 SE a couple weeks ago and although it has some older electronics on it I was able to have some luck on a test fly tonight.
I broke the engine in a couple nights ago and tonight I was able to run 2 tanks of fuel through it with no broken parts.
I started 2 weeks ago on a Helimax AXE CP and although I have relaced
about 5 rotor grips things are going pretty good.
The first flights on the Concept have hooked me good.
Alot friendlier to control than the Axe,should of just started out with the nitro copter first.
The time spent on a sym has helped alot I think.
I need to get some fine adjustments done then I will be ready to try again.
The main blades aren,t tracking quite right and the tail rotor seems to be not holding the tail quite enough.
It takes alot of right rudder to hold the nose straight.
Its something to see the heli hover at eye level out about 40 feet or so.
It takes alot of concentration to keep these in the air compaired to a plane.
THANKS to all who have help by answering questions, some probably seem pretty dumb to some of you guys that have been flying helis for a long time but the basics are alot to learn when you are just starting out.

Hey, that's great! Kyosho is a good brand for sure.

Now get that swash level, servos centered, linkages at 90 degrees, blades set, blah, blah, blah, and she will just sit there for you in hover..

1st nitro flight

It,s a great feeling to see your heli in the hover for the first time, and it does become very addictive, I to have found the sim to be very helpful (phoenix) for orientation i'm sure once you have made those fine adjustments you will enjoy it even more, happy flying
