I have installed an ATG but am having a problem setting it up. The programing of the unit itself is no problem, but my idle up 1 & 2 are below what is selected. Is the setting within the TX, 'advanced', 'governer' related to a percentage of the headspeed programed into the ATG or is the percentage actually the headspeed intself. eg 0% = disabled , idle up 1 50% = 1650rpm , idle up 2 85% = 1950rpm.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers

Justin

are you saying that your headspeed are not correct, if they are not then just turn up the % up to the headspeed you want

So if I had 100% set for both 1 & 2 then the headspeeds would be the same?

Thanks inkspot1967

So how do I know what percentage relates to what headspeed? Is this just trial and error?

The setup of the ATG is pretty straight forward. It's the TX settings that I'm stuck on. Do the percentages within governer setting on the TX dictate the overall headspeed for normal, 1 & 2.

Thanks for patience.

So I've setup the following:

Gear ratio: 1 red flashing = 8.8

Idle 1: 3 green flashing = 1750

Idle 2: 3 red flashing = 1950

Now what percentage should I set within the TX governer settings for each of the three flight modes?

Cheers
