I may sound like a complete newbie to photography, but those build pics are very profissionally done.

may I ask what/how you can have a solid white background with very well exposed objects in your photos?
Thanks

Hello Noobs,

Thanks for sharing. It is great that you went through such details, especially with the head setup, in your write-ups and photos. I would love to read about your camera mount and how you build it. Best wishes on your photo endeavor.

Very impressive, your camera work really showed some impressive skills!

I liked everything except using the small wheels for the collective servos.

It would be better for the throw if you use the 6 or 4 arm servo horn instead of the small wheel that also keeps the linkage parralel with the bellcranks.
I noticed in your drawings 11 & 12 you did use the longer arms but later in your build drawings 28 & 29 it looks like you switched to the smaller wheels?

Also, when you "clean up" your wiring, I would recomend protecting the wiring with some sort of sleaving as the carbon edges are sharp and can and will cut the wires causing all kinds of unpleasent problems.

Again, That was a very nice job!

Which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I don't know and I don't care!

color me impressed. i am halfway through building my own MJ2 and everything is going really well. i am actually having some machining done on a rear plate to accept the Gemini switch (it will be cool looking too).

one thing - on this page you have a misspelling:

http://www.rosaurophotography.com/html/ap_41.html

you say 'Use a SOLD surface while hammering'. you'll want to change that to 'solid'.

again - i am SUPER impressed with what you have done. it will be helpful to me as i finish building mine. will post pics when i am done.

Anything anyone says about your website really just does not need to be said. Very simply, anything said is going to be an understatement.
However, I applaud your dedication to the hours of SIM time you logged and the foresight to build your own heli for the reasons you stated.
Thank you for sharing your learning process through your images.
I am definitely looking forward to watch as you master the art of flying your MJ2 for AP work and to see your efforts pay off for you.

Minicopter should replace their manual with this one.

Nice work, good material.

I just need to practice with the heli being elevated.
I doubt very much this will be a problem for you.

Looking forward to seeing some of your AP work!

nooobs I stumbled across your site the other day looking for pano guides, very nice guide you have there. Then I noticed you were getting into AP and wondered if you would find your way to RR. Good to see you did.

Hey guys thank you for your compliments and encouragement. I appreciate it. I think it'll be awhile though before I produce any aerial shots. Lots of testing to do... Quite honestly I think I'll be testing til next year...

Some have asked about the "set up" of the shots so here it is...
The paper did get dirty. I cut the paper when it did and roll out some more. The paper did help in organizing the parts. I raised the edge of the paper which caught a couple of runaway washers and nuts.
