Why waste your time worring about it? People sell stuff for all kinds of reasons. If you doubt the heli, fly one and I bet you want doubt it again.

the 600n are too greasy and full of grease and oil, they are just too slippery.

i think they switched back to 600e cause the nitro is just too slimy and it dont have the power of an 600e.

plus the airthunder packs are factor in the 600e making it god-like because they are awesum packs they are nice and powerful and afforable and durable.

One phrase "learning curve". Well some might agree, and some will dsiagree. But electric is plain simpler imho. Sure yu have to learn about an esc, and perhaps how to figure out motors and pinions oh well.... With nitro and I have seen this at most recent funfly there were some deer in the headlights looks going on there, how do i tune, whats a hot start, I need what to glo plug what....? LOL oh boy. I was lucky enough when I had nitros to have someone knowledgeable to teach me about tuning and all the things to know, but there is alot more to go wrong on a nitro and alot more to know I can tell you that. No thank you sir! I might get one again someday as a beater or for winter but that'd be it.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

The main drive.... the one way... blows.

No matter how good a product is, if one of the most important components is poorly designed, it detracts from the whole.

Everyone knows the one way is a loser. We all need to tell Align to get off it's arse and fix the issue once and for all.

If they don't, well you are on your own. A great flying ship that couldn't.

Oh yeah, dump the whole heli for a bad one-way, good idea! $17 and a couple days later you have a Boca one-way that is superior to any one-way shipped in a heli kit. Even if the stock one-way didn't have lock up issues I would have replaced it anyways with a Boca.

The question is.....why buy a BRAND NEW heli, only to have to replace things. Would you go out and buy ANYTHING new only to have to replace several parts to get it to work properly? I think it's a good heli, but not as great as all of the "worshippers" say. I guess if Alan Szabo flew a "turd on a stick" everyone would go out and buy it..... So I guess good quality falls on the end user and his/her pocketbook to "upgrade" it to get rid of the sub-standard pieces. Smart on Aligns part......they still make the money while the end user fixes all of Aligns problems.

This is a major failure point on the 600N. Most of the rest of this heli is decent. Performance is great. No I don't want to unload this heli because the one way assy design doesn't work. I am taking care of it with the LukeRC unit... this is a total redesign. It's like buying a truck and the clutch keeps blowing out on you. At least this is a lot cheaper.

You've posted enough to know forums are where people talk about problems. Personally I have 88 hard flights on my 600 nitro with no problems what so ever. IMO the one way works just fine and I'm sure many people who aren't posting because of zero problems would agree. The people with problems are certainly vocal though and they skew the issues IMO because the discussions are so one sided, especially when one person gets on the soap box and becomes the advocate who will save us all. Not to mention all the people who don't have the heli, yet make soooo many posts with their opinions that don't help anyone further skewing the picture.

Back to the quote I pasted above, I believe many many people especially people new to nitro or helis in general needlessly replace parts right off the bat, talk about how they had to replace parts and continue to perpetuate the supposed problems. I've even seen where people replace parts just for the sake of tinkering or because in their mind they have a better design, not because of an actual failure or flaw. Once it's talked about on a forum it then appears to have fixed a design flaw or problem whether it actually has or not.

Such is the culture of forums, what are you gonna do. You know, once it's in print the info right or wrong is assumed to be fact much to often. Hopefully info used from anywhere is taken with a grain of salt.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

I love how you bash others for going to QWW forum and bashing the products....But you go to other forums and bash theirs.
I guess if Alan Szabo flew a "turd on a stick" everyone would go out and buy it
Szabo is going to start flying for QWW?

Why are there a bunch for sale? For a long time there were more Raptors for sale than anything else. It is very easy to understand issue that relates to economies of scale.

There will always be more of the currently "hot" brand for sale due to more of them being bought. More of them being owned leads to more being resold.
