I need to replace the gears on my open tail gearbox,how do you get out the roll pin?

The pin is about .80 so you need a rod close to that size, support the bottom while driving the roll pin out. You need to loosen the set screws top and bottom on the part that is in the boom so you can slide the gear forward. MA makes a tool to support and drive the pins out.

For the $15 it costs, The MA tool is so worth it. It comes with the rods to drive the pins out and the cradle is very handy. I highly, highly recommend getting one if you own the open gear box. I ordered mine when I ordered the newest gear set.
