Hi,
Newbie here, trying to make a decision about what Helo to buy. Like the Logo 500/600, Lepton, Trex 450/600 and would love to find out about the Trex 500 but so little detail anywhere.

I'm not that impressed with the customer service at my LHS. They just don't have as diverse a range of stock to choose from.
So I'm looking online to see what deals I can get.
Can anyone suggest an excellent full range, good service, good stocked online store that is worth dealing with from here in Australia (Perth)?

I'm going to take my time with this, reading heaps and leaning lots.

Already decided that the best sim is Pheonix (best physics model from all I've read) just need advice also on what TX controller to get for it without spending a fortune up front to get started.

Any advice gratefully recieved.

Thanks

if your planning to go electric the dx7 is a great radio, its got 2.4 technology so no worrying about what channel your on, and its fairly reasonable price, Futaba has also realeased there 7 channel FASST system(2.4) which i have not heard much about because it is fairly new, but knowing futaba its probably top notch. all the helis you listed are great electric helis for beginners, and will take you right up to advanced 3d flying. whichever one you like i would say.

I can also recommend Take off and Land in Wembley. Toby is a great bloke, has got some good "store brand" stuff and is well priced. Both myself and a friend have flown his fibreglass 600mm blades that r only $65 bucks and have raved about them.

Check him out.

Also try:
Perth RC - bad service but heaps of gear and good priced.
Discount Hobbies - good service n price, just 2 far from my house!
Ace Hobbies - Where i get my Century Heli stuff.

Feel free to PM me, let me know where ur gonna fly and if u need any advice on setting up. I fly G3 and find it's very good.

Hi,
Thanks heaps for all the quick usefull advice. Great to hear that Perth has a good service store somewhere.

I will certainly check out Take off and land when I can.
As I'm leaning towards Logo I see that PerthRC have the Australian market cornered - only dealership for Logo in the whole country! Amazing.

Cheers.

It's takeoffandland.com.au for me to.
Helpful and real quick same day postage for me. Usually arrive the next day. The glass blades are a great investment. Toby always follows up with an email with an on line order. First class!!!!
