Ha Ha! only 60 times the face-value of a REAL quarter,-and it has no cash value anyway.
sure is an expensive novelty....the US government can mint and distribute REAL quarters for less than face value,so someone's really hoping to con the gullible, here.
As an aside, in pre-decimal UK, the Gov't had the banks remove old coins from circulation as the metal value started to exceed the coin's face value. For the same reason, our 1/2P coin was discontinued and all our "copper" (cupro-nickel alloy) coins became plated-steel. This necessitated all slot-machines being fitted with modified coin-acceptors,as one "test" in the Mech. was a magnet to catch washers and the like....a good boost for the vending industry!
