I just got my 450 gorilla paddels, my question is they included this metal rod that looks like it slides in the paddle. Should I install it yes or no, what does this do?
I already have the stock weights on my flybar.
Thanks

I cut mine in half. But then remove the weights on the flybar.

So them metal rods slip in the paddles only if you remove the flybar weights? Otherwise if you keep the flighbar weights on there is no need to install the metal rods in the paddles?

Yes. You dont have to use the weights in the paddles but I would instead of the flybar weights. Have you ever flown without any weights?

No I have never flown without the weights, i thought it is more stable with the weights on? What exactly will I benifit from if I remove them? So you are saying use the paddle weights instead of the flybar weights?

more weight = more stability

less weight = more peppy

can use none, either or both...depends on your flying skill as well as taste.

Best of luck!

The reason I asked if you have ever flown without weights is alot of people just dont take them off and see where they really are. Remove the weights and see how it flys then if you need add some. As for paddle weight or flybar weights doesnt matter its all preference.
