Bigger is always better when it comes to saw blades. You never know when you're going to have to cut tha 45 degree into a 6x6........and a 10" blade wont do it in one pass.

12" and if you can do it go for the slide. One of my better purchases.

Just remember -- if the world didn't suck, we would fall off.

What are you going to cut with it? And how often do you intend on using it? I would get a 10 inch dual compound slide saw. You are much more likely to have to cut a 1x12 than a 45 through a 6x6.

Try this Hitatchi. They have a ten inch as well, but if you are just using it around the house this should be plenty.

Go with the 12" Hitatchi I have used both and IMO the Hitatchi is the way to go. I am building my own house at this time and I can tell you this saw is great. Gator
