I'd like to hear from anyone using the cyclock for eccpm. Please comment on your useage and benefits/shortcomings you have noticed. Details of setup would be greatly appreciated.

If you dont have a 14MZ/12Z its worth it.
You can adjust away all interactions at all travel.

Setup varies from machine to machine, i have it on 3 of mine.

I have a 10X and the thing that bothers me is the 3 servo's not moving at the same time. I may try one on my 600N,since it has 120 CCPM it should help with the interaction also.On my Stratus with 120 CCPM it had an interaction at 1/4 and 3/4 stick i couldnt get out,are you able to adjust these points in the software.?I could get mid stick and the ends level but not at those points 1/4 and 3/4DOUG

Interaction at 1/4 and 3/4 is 99% of the time because of slight off mechanical setup, or mismatched servos.

servos

did you happen to notice any difference in the sound of the servos, servo speed, centering, etc?

Did the models fly better? If so, how?

Im using a 14MZ with Spektrum module, with that it comes with terrible interaction (not the 14MZ but the combo).

Swash was dancing up and down from time to time, the Cyclock allowed me to run "plain" 1 servo setup, and let the cycloc do all the CCPM conversion.

With it you have the same powerful programming I had in the 14MZ, meaning you can adjust endpoints, you can adjust mixing etc.

I think the screenshot pretty much says it all.

software

from what I gather, the software does address the mid stick, + pitch, - pitch like most radios can do. The software also appears to show a mix for the troublesome 1/4 stick and 3/4 stick positions. This mix should be progressive, thus allowing a smooth transition.

Am I correct in this?

What about servo sound/noise differences before/after installation?

Hi Tyler recovered from IRCHA? Good to have met you there.

Check out the CSM website for the tech answer but in practical terms, I have run the Cyclock as a CCPM mixer and in flybarless configuration and what I noticed was, yes the servos appeared to work faster and therefore the cyclics did also, their centring was only as good as the servos capability to centre properly, and the resolution of control to the head will increase giving your machine a more "locked in" feel. I didn't notice any change in servo noise??

It can do it but should not really be used to mask any mechanical errors. They are always better to fix on the bench.

Also check out Real Raptors website for really good set up info

Tyler,
The adjustments are more geared to center, full positive, and full negative collective. Obviously it will transition smoothly between those adjustments as collective changes. Problems at 1/4 and 3/4 are usually mechanical/geometry or servo related. Assuming those are in check, you'll experience the smoothest, truest, highest resolution eCCPM you've ever seen.

You won't be sorry if you buy a CycLock. You'll be wondering how to finance one for each of your eCCPM helis.
