I have an Align case...
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Product...ProdID=AGNH1005 for my T-Rex 450 and basically like it. However, I have gotten a second T-Rex and was thinking about getting a Wing Tote bag.... http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...?&I=LXNZL9&P=ML
OR Wing Tote's site... http://www.wing-tote.com/medium_heli_bag.php

I have never seen this bag in person but the few comments about it I could find were positive. Do you own one or have you seen one and could give some pro's and con's?

Thanks
Al

Have a buddy who got one. Poked at it a little, and watched him use it now and then.

Shell material seems about the same as medium quality soft-sided luggage and backpacks - nothing to complain about for the price.

Rigidity and padding is good, but you might not want to chuck it in as hard, or toss heavier crap on top of it, like many of us who don't give a damn what the container looks like, do. The hard cases might have a slight advantage here, but maybe not. He does chuck his bag right in the bed of his truck, without any concerns about keeping it all purdy-like.

Possibly a bit more volume in a longer but less flat container.

He and I think it is worth the money.

I have the wing tote and think its great...like the previous post says you wouldnt want to toss it around to hard or put heavy stuff on top of it, but other than that it is very nice. Plenty of room and a compartment on either end, i keep my radio in one and parts and charger in the either. Either route you take I don't think you will be dissapointed

Check out this case at Hobby People:

http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/404103.asp

It actually has 3 hinges - although the ad says 2.

There is a review on it - over at heli-freak.com (take out the hyphen)

If I were to get another 450 and needed a case - it would be the one I choose.

Hope this helps!!

AS for the two hinges goes, I believe that they are reffering to the two that are in the front. But yeah, I have this case and it is very nice. Although I do preffer the align foam which will fit in this case as well

Heliman450 does this case have any lettering on it? The one thing that puts me off of the align case is the silly saying "conquer your heart". They really should have left that off and just put Align.

I crash therefore I am

Nope, no lettering at all. I agree with you, that is a silly statement! My choice would be to get the flight leader case, and when the foam inside sears get the align foam insert. This is what I am going to do! Scroll down a little.

Thanks for all the input. Regarding the Wing Tote, does anyone know if two T-Rex's will safely fit along with a radio and batteries?

I'm not sure about the radio and batteries, but I think you can get two Rex's in it if you put them in kind of like the same way your shoes come in the box from the shoe store, you know, like heel to toe.
