I think I can fly noise in can with cx but mess up some maybe. I can on Realflight G3 but sometimes I mess up still. Check out my video here [url=http://youtube.com/watch?v=ukSn8WKnJsQ] and see what I can do on real flight but that heli seems easy. Think I should stop being scared and just do it crashed once trying that but paniced came at me and family.

Can you fly nose-in on G3?

Looking at where you are, either:

1. put on the training gear and do RADDs,
or I really suggest...
2. go out far and high, fly towards you - gradually bring your heli in slower and lower, until you are hovering in front of yourself.

Go for it! You are ready!

Yes I have can fly noise in on G3 see video thats me. I can do upside down tics tocs etc on G3. But when I get on field I am scared to do much of anything. I also haven't ever flown that high yet. I know everyone tells me to take it high but I am used to electics and have always flown probably 50 feet or lower or my top maybe 150 feet. But not with planes but with heli's I still say I have a hard time seeing them that high and maybe my eyes are bad or something. But I can see them just not like a plane and like to see it really good. But on G3 I can take it so high and looks like a dot and still can get it down fly etc and brag on that fact because others can't. But I am not sure I think I am probably just to dang scared because cost's and I don't have much money. I think I am just going to go out take my heli up and then turn it noise in or take off noise in or fly tail in then turn then turn back doing circles with no gear. I never used training gear ever. I never had a buddy cable either I just started with planes and had someone help and stand next to me and take it fast if I messed up. With heli's I started with a cyclone heli like cp but not 3d and it had electronic issues. I hovered it once then I crashed or tips blades with it a few times. Before it pretty much stopped working. So waited some time and got a Blade CX broke alot of blades but could fly pretty good but broke more blades trying more and more. Then I got a cp and broke a few blades not many and at first none but tryed flying inside bad idea and then tryed noise in and getting balsy and crashed a few times. Then I got my Hawk Pro 30 size and been flying it and CX still and some times cp if it will every work. But so far I fly it around me in a cirlce never turning noise in. Also not lately do to engine out of tune and can't get it to keep power. But I used to fly my Blade CP more because I didn't have tuning issues. I am thinking on buying a cheap electric and taking it out and trying everything. So crashes coming possible lol. Anyway yea I am telling my life story lol but yea. I think I am just to scared and when I get scared I always hit the stick wrong and slam. If I stay chilled I can fly good. But I crash on G3 alot to but usually not doing noise in etc. Oh also if you watch my video I have more of me flying my Hawk Pro 30 on there. May look like I fly noise in but don't. I think I need to get a buddy cable and ask someone at hobby shop if they will take me out with my heli and spot me and fix it if I mess up. Then I will take it and do everything probably since I know they can fix it lol. Then I will see I can and do it for now on maybe.

Get Real Flight, if you don't have it you are wasting time and money, seriosuly. You will learn so much faster with a sim!

You really want to be learning any orientation hover and not just nose in, side in, tail in. You will be much better off in the long run learning this way.

1: Get in a solid hover and then use the yaw trim to put the heli in a slow rotation either direction.

2: Take your hand off the left stick, don't touch it. Seriously, don't touch it.

3: Let the heli slowly pirouette and keep it in the air using only cyclic controls. If you are going to crash let it, you are only allowed to use the cyclic controls. Bailing yourself out inhibits progress, your brain needs to know it can only react using those controls. It will come faster than you think.

After about 2 hours of forcing myself into this scenario I had "all orientation hover" and now don't even think about it. I used the same setup for inverted hover.

I read an article with Courtis Youngblood one time where he stressed that he was pushing and pulling the canopy to the rotor blades, not tilting the disc. If you can make yourself see the helicopter this way it will help you move into inverted hover much faster and give you better reflexes overall.
