Hey guys, thanks for the comments. I just came across this thread, and figured i would chime in. The reason the tic tocs were sagging, was because i was letting it down, and trying to get closer to the ground. The roll input was not put to full ever in that video, the swift with full deflection rolls on a dime, and dang quick. Heres the specs for my current setup
Century outrunner 600+/Century electron 80/100A esc
Metal hub, grips, mixer arms
I also have a predator metal swashplate, and washout unit (wrong ratio)
Rotortech 560's (RT 550s are heavy tipped, for smooth flying)
Futaba 9204 on cyclic (.19 and 132oz...slowwww!!!)
NoBS rx pack.
Airthunder 6S, 5000mah
As you can see, the slower setup still kicks some butt, but i just made an order of a few goodies.. i order a metal tail case, metal tail hub/grips, 10T pinion (staying on 6s), metal motor plate, metal swash (for swift), and the HD maingear. This should give my swift some meanness for sure...HS should be around 2600...but might keep it down. Right now with 9t and 6s, i can get 2450 RPM.
The best upgrades i feel are, metal hub, grips, and RT 560's. And if your flying A123's, get a freakin lipo! the A123 are nice for budget, but when your going for performance, NOTHING can beat the power to weight ratio of the lipos. The swift 16 is pretty well limited to 6s, after that your risking blowing the tail blades off, unless you get the metal upgrade. Let me know if theres anything else i can help with!
P.S. my dad just surprised me and told me that he order 3 futaba 9451's!!! weeee!!
