Thinking about a new heli for trying things such as piro flips etc.

Which would be better, the rap 30v2-tt39 or the rap50v2 tt50?

There isnt much difference in price so I dont mind spending the extra on the 50 if it will be a better hack machine.

What does everybody think?

regards
Glenn

Between the 2 I would go with the 50 V2. I have it and the TT50 produces great power. Also, you can get the 50 with the OS from heliproz for a little over $500.

Unless you are concerned with fuel economy, go with the 50. Better power, better auto's and a little more stability due to the larger blades. Not to mention it's not much more expensive than the 30 to begin with. I would have bought a 50V2 instead of my 30V2 had they been out at the time. Oh well, now I just have both and if one goes in I have a backup

r2160 , which ever you decide try heli-kraft.com , I think they sell the 50 with tt50 for $400. I just got a 30v2 from them and the service was great. From ordering(Taiwan----->UK)
to flying outside my house in like 4days!! . I was going to upgrad my 30v1 to a 50 but at that price might as well buy

Just ordered my 50V2+TT50 from heli-kraft less than an hour ago. I was going with the 30V2 but then... for a extra $105 you get a 50 size bird with a few upgrades that the 30 does not have. The constant driven T/R is the icing on the cake!

Raptor 50V2 with an OS 50

Hi All,

I finally fired up my R50V2 for a preflight check. I noticed it has a ton of power. Is there any problem with over speeding the rotors with th 50. It seems to me it would be very easy to do? What type of throttle curves are you using?

R50

I checked with the prices on the R50 V2 at heli-kraft.com and they are not much different from the prices at helihut.com The big difference is that helihut has cheaper shipping at 10.00-20.00 Heli-kraft told me shipping on a kit is about 45.00 for an R50 and 65.00 for a R60.
