Question?

How do you pre-register for the event? No contact or method to send money on the web site.

Unless I'm missing something, the URL in Jeff's message refers to a Fun Fly that took place last year, in November of 2002.

Is there a URL that is up-to-date, and describes the upcoming Hirobo Cup?

Thanks, and look forward to seeing everybody there!

Sorry the website is not upto date. The website is linked just for location and directions. For any questions, just email me at jeffg@modelrectifier.com. We are also taking pre-registrations thru my email address as well.

Sorry again for the confusion

I just tried it and it's working. You need to have your default e-mail client defined because pre-registration is done through e-mail.

Enduro Event info.

I learned yesterday from the event CD Bob Lang that the Enduro competition is based on number of flights.

For a flight to count you need to start with a full tank and land with 1/4 tank or less.

The prizes are Freya for first place, Sceadu for second place and Shuttle Plus for third place.

The competition is open to all levels and even if the only thing you do is hover the whole tank it counts for the competition.

This allows newbies to compete on same level with experienced pilots.

Frequencies will be given out in a first -come-first-serve basis with the clothespin method. Competing pilots that finish a flight will need to show their pilot number badge to the station marshall for him to acrue that flight into the competition records before returning to the impound and placing his pin back in the waiting que clothesline.

Also as an additional prize and as a way to thank Hirobo current customers the highest placed Pilot flying a hirobo machine will receive an X-Spec.

That's all I know so far. If I learn more info I'll post it here.
