Hi all

New to electric and especially lipo batterys, I have just bought a Flightpower EVO25 V-Power rated at 2500Mah 3s1p..

The battery has a black balance plug but the problem is my lipo charger/balancer (Lipro Plus 5)has balanve sockets for the white plugs, question is can I buy a converter cable to go in between the charger / battery, or is changing the black plug for a white one the easier option?.. also are the 2 different balance plugs pin for pin alike..

Thanks for any help or suggestions..

Spoke to flightpower about this very issue 2 days ago.
They have just released an adapter to allow you to ballance your FP or TP packs with a ballancer that uses the larger white plugs.
Also, they are also going to release a reverse adapter to allaow you to balance batteries with the white plug on ballancers with Tp/Fp connectors like the TP210V etc

Thanks for the info! I have a Align charger/balancer RCC-3CX and it works fine, however, takes forever to charge a 3C lipo. Have had a triton charger for the longest, and bought a TP-205 this weekend to use with it. I have Air Thunder batteries and two Flight Power EVO 25's. The evo's work just fine with the adapter I have for them (smaller plug), however, cannot use my Air Thunder batteries with it. The main reason I purchased the TP-205 was so that I can see what I am putting back into my batteries instead of just waiting for the 'green' lights to come on. I puffed my 3 mega power batteries (not for sure if it was me or the battery as none of my EVO's did this). So if anyone has a link to where I can purchase the adapter, would be greatly appreciated! Take care and safe flying/charging!

Will the black FP plug still work with the TP balancers?

Would it not be possible (good idea) to cut the stock balancing wires and weld/heat wrap all the sam econnectors on all of your batteries, therefore avoiding adaptors? (I ask because I am somewhat in the same boat...)

When does a hobby become an obsession!??
