Got a couple of questions for those of you running the MRB-III Three Blade Head.

I would like to run carbon blades. Anyone running 550 carbon blades? If not, what size carbons are you running? At what head speeds?

Thanks!

hirobo mrb 3 blade head

Hi
I ran my Hirobo Lama with std Shuttle 550 glass fibre blades with no problems
they did fly better than the std MRB-3 wooden blades that came in the kit , sorry I never checked the head speed its now runing the 2 blade head as I prefer the way a 2 blade head flies

Awesome! That is what I wanted to hear.

I'm getting ready to set this head up on my ZXX to work out the kinks before installing it all in a Graupner AS355 Squirrel fuse.

Thanks for the response.

Hello csc,

I`m running MS Composit 515mm CF on a Hirobo Schweizer .30 converted to electric.
The MS blades are running 1400rpm in hover.
Tried Rotortech 515mm CF, nice blades run about 50 rpm faster with
all the same throttle/pitch settings than the MS blades.
If you have a moment go to Hirobo Conversion by P901 for a full description of the machine.
