I want to set up my T-rex450 with JR radio and multiplex micro IPD receiver(PPM).
It seems to work ok however I need to get extra port working on the receiver.
I have 7 ports on the micro IPD bud no aux channels!.
Port 5 and 7 are not doing anything when looking at servo monitor from transmitter.
What I actually want to do now is somehow program the pot meters at the front site of the transmitter(aux 4 and 5)to get the ports 5 and 7 on the receiver working.(these are not aux ports)
Does anyone have a solutio or hint for this?
Thanks in advance.

On the 10X, channel 5 is the gear channel, 6 is Aux1, 7 is Aux 2. Therefore ports 5,6 & 7 will follow the channel assignments as above (ie 6 & 7 will be Aux1 & 2)

aux 4/5

If in the menu 75 is activated(monitor panel)and I turn aux 4/5/knobs on the front site of the transmitter I can see the indicator on 9 and 10 moving!
If I can get these on 7 from the receiver I can get my gyro gain working.
How can I change this in the transmitter.
The micro IPD has 7 ports.

Channel assignments on the 10X are pretty much fixed, unlike the total flexibility of the Multiplex stuff. You might accomplish what you want with a set of mixes, but that's the only way . . . .

JR PCM 10X question

I had Multiplex before and indeed with this radio everything was possible and I was thinking already that with the JR it will not be easy to swapp things.
Anyway thanks for your help.
Problem is that my JR receiver went to JAPAN for repair and I have no idea how long that will take,so that's why I try the micro IPD.

I'll try it out as soon as I can. My reference 10X hasn't been returned to me after the Poland competition so it might take a while..(he who borrowed it is on Holiday this week, he gets back and I disappear for a week..... )

PCM 10X

Right now I use CCPM set up for T-rex using 2,3 and 6 for swash plate however port 5 (gear)is dead on the servo monitor from the transmitter, so I would like to activate this now for the gyro control.
I don't know how to get it working!

This can be done very easily on a 10X.

I will use say The Aux 4 Pot to operate Channel 5 (Gear Ch) as an example.

First thing you need to do is to setup a mix so that you can mix ch 5 into ch 5 (ie into itself) using -100 mix with an offset of 0. This will effectively disable the gear switch which normally operates ch 5 and set ch 5 output to be in the centre of travel.

Next you set up another mix which will mix Aux 4 into Ch 5 (100 Mix with an offset of 0 as well). This will now allow you to operate ch 5 with the Aux 4 pot on the transmitter.

You can repeat the same setup for the Aux 5 pot and channel 7...

PCM 10X

I have done next,

PGM1 and aux4 > aux2 which makes port 7 from receiver accessible.
However I don't know why it is working now???

I moved channel 9 as seen on the servo monitor(aux4) to 7(aux2 now)

Just luck and if you don't try you never find out.

If you have comments let me know anyway.
