Just got back from Ircha. They had the Aurora in the box at Ircha but they weren't for sale. This is an awesome and beautiful heli!!!The word is they are waiting on new plastic tail grips because the original metal ones did not have enough flex and were causing problems.

What sort of problems do you know? Seems like everyone is using metal tail grips with no problem, whats the deal with the Aurora's? I have metal grips on my 600N and 90SE and have had no issues whatsoever.

metal blade grips wear out bearing faster. Thats is probally the issue. The Synergy comes with plastic the 600 comes with plastic. The heli's you are flying do not come stock with Metal tail blade grips. The plastic one's provide flex so that not all the force is placed on the thrust bearings.

I don't use plastic tail blade grips on any of my heli's.

Whats another two weeks on top of a year? This should be a cake walk.

Not to get off subject, but was I the only one who had to stop and laugh out loud when the guy on the loudspeaker announced that the Aurora demonstration was DELAYED from 11am to 5pm on Friday?

Are we supposed to be so gullible to think that metal blade grips is whats holding up this heli because they are not good for flying. I have a way old X-Cell with metal T&T blades grips that has been flying for almost 10 years without a single problem. This combined with saying that moving a gyro to the rear makes the T/R respond better gives me a impression like Avant just thinks we're stupid or something, its just lies.

What is the old saying, "One excuse is as good as another." Pretty much sums it up. We have heard so many over the past year I forgot half of them. Augusto could use them on us again and we probally wouldn't even know it!

What makes me mad is that someone who paid a few dollars for a raffel ticket now has one when all us fools who have paid a depoist and have been waiting are still not even given a release date I must check in the mirror I think I have sucker written on my forehead. This is the final straw for me Vibe here I come.

How many people sold their 90 size machines in the process of waiting for this thing to come out? Same thing that happened when the N9 was coming out. Funny.

Let me know where you paid your deposit so I may put my name on the list for an Aurora. That would be great.

Go to RC direct, they have a waiting list for the second batch and there is no fee to pay to be on it. I called them about it and they said..... "There is no need to pay a fee for a pre order on something there are people lining up in droves to get". He will call upon arrival and then you give them your billing info. I'm local to them so I will even get to will call pick up at their location.

Sweet deal.
