There is not quite a lot of gyros out there. In the 60s, it is definitely Telebee gyro, in the 90s GY240 and over 100usd then logictech and GY401

Doesn't matter what kind of flying you do, a GY401 is the only gyro I would ever put in my T-Rex.

I have the 401/9650 combo on one 450 and the logictech 2100T on another. If I were buying over again it'd be the 2100T for sure. Both gyros hold the tail fine but the 2100T has a more consistent piro rate and it's less expensive. Right now I'm using it with the new futaba 9257 servo and the combo is excellent. For months I was using the 2100T with the 94761Z servo and that was great also.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

LTG-2100T, around $105us. Limit set left and right, lighter only 8gm, able to see the gain rate on gyro at a glance. A great small gyro for the money, as good or better as a 401. imho

Most people will disagree with me , but I have used the stock align gyro and it has worked very well. It does not acclimate to temperature changes well but a good bargain for about $55

Buy it right once and you'll be very satisfied. 401 if you can save up. I have not used the Logictech but it's supposed to be quite good. The 240 is basically the 401 without all the bells and whistles. But it's only 20 bucks less.

The Telebee, Align, and E-Flite G90 (around $60 USD) are all the same gyro and will suit your purpose fine. I fly a G90 with a HiTec HS-56HB in a MX400 Pro and a T-Rex 450. For sport flying, I have no tail problems or complaints.
By 60, 90, and 100+, he was referring to US dollars.

I had the G90. It was a waste of money. Especially when the Logitech is only $20 more. The only down side to the 2100 is it's supposed to be electric only.

I wouldn't worry about money for a gyro. I would wait a little while to fly your bird, and save up some money that way you can get a 401/9650. I wouldn't suggest going with anything else, except the logitech 2100, but I wouldn't go with the G90, or the telebee. I have learned one thing in this hobby, you do get what you pay for. The g90 is awesome for a blade cp/pro, but for an aggressive heli like a Trex 450. If you buy a cheaper one now, you will surely go back later, and buy the 401/9650 anyway, so have a little patience, and get one that will truely work.
Either way you go, best of luck to you.

One other option is the new Xero G gyro for Curis Youngblood. I know if his name is on it, then it has to be somewhat good...

dingaling02 dude,
I really appreciated ur advice & will follow accordingly. Yes 401 or Logitech is the best way to go I learnt through this people even if I have to wait.As gyro is the thing to make the heli stable so it has to be really good.
Anyway what brand u used?

I have the GY240, GY401 and the Logictech 2100 and I would recommend the Logictech. The 401 is a great gyro and performs as well as the logictech but, I like the logictech interface and size.

Choose the 2100 or the 401 and you'll be happy, any less and you'll be buying another when your skills progress.
