I spoke to a flying buddy of mine yesterday to help me setup my R90SE with a Fubaba GY 601, but I'd like to get some setting in before I go to the field tomorrow. I'm only familiar with the GY 240 & 401 right now.

Can someone here go thru the menu selections and put some values for me to start with and if possible explain how different values affect flying, ie. higher gain - solid locking tail.

On the szabo 3d dvd they say 37 percent on the display.
I have 1 and that's what i did and it holds great.
Just set right and left throws on the gyro
and don't forget to make sure its working in the right direction.
i also fly in f3c mode not 3d mode try both..
If you can set up a 401 you can definitely set up a 601 611.

All the functions are explained in the manual.

Leave everything at stock except the limits. Those are for fine tuning. Might want to try 3d mode though. The avs value will affect your piro rate in 3d mode. Whereas in f3c mode, the rudder control gain values will do the job.
