Do I have to take the engine out to install sensing magnet on fan? Because I can see and get to the hole on the fan to put magnet on.

Can See The Hole....

If you can see the hole in the fan then NO you will not have to drop the engine to drill it out...
Just make certain that you have the proper side of the magnet facing the sensor/pickup and you should be fine...
And if there are two holes in the fan put you second magnet into that hole the opposite way so that the sensor will not read it...

Good Luck....

A good trick is to drill a very small hole behind the magnet dimple. That way the epoxy and will escape when you push the magnet in and prevent the airbubble between the fan and the magnet.

Also if you ever change fans you can push the magnet out from the otherside with a small punch.

Take the time to remove the fan and do it right and you will be alot better off down the road.

take motor out use ball link pliers to push magnets in tight also its easier to adjust sensor with motor out if your to close to fan you will break sensor also put some heat shrink over sensor after you mount to bracket this will help in crashes plastic case gets brittle from fuel
