Step down the tail servo and if you are using a high frame rate governor like the csm with a 9252 then step it down or get a servo that can handle 6v, the 2 in 1 outputs 5.8v

you need a stepdown lead for the 601 dude.... 9251 servo cant handle 6V's....

The Align 2 in 1 isnt selectable voltage, its fixed at 5.7 which is cool to run your 9252's at, Ive been doing it for ages and so have loads of other pilots on here with no worries

If you use 9252's on the throttle with a governor,it will burn up the servo with the 5.8 volts it gets hot because it's too active, just like the TR servo.

I'd just find a servo thats happy on 6v for the throttle.

the thing is i want to use 9252 on cyclic 601 on tail and a jr810g with rex max on throttle so most of servo's are 4.8 volts, can i just get one drop down and put it between regulator and rx so all is at 4.8 volts???

Yes could do that or use a 5.2 volt regulator.

The 9252's will take the 5.8v just not when they are hooked up to something high frame rate like a csm governor.

I don't know the frame rate on the revmax, if it runs in super servo mode then yes.

You dont step down the gyro you step down the tail servo.

The RevMax does not have the super servo option
(The T/J Pro does however)

Jr is the only one with super servo's,they are high frequqncy analog servo's. You do have to select digital mode because of thr frame rate.

Question with step for down tail servo

I put the align step down in line for the tail servo on my 611 ....
but there it's dead...theyre is no servo movement...
I removed the step down and the tail again worked normally.

Is this just a bad step down?

Gravity Works...no, the other left. ok,ok

snsn, sounds like you've got one that had it's diode soldered wrong way round. If you know a bit of soldering, you can easily correct this yourself.

This can happen if you have the step down plugged in wrong. One end of the step down has a JR style connector, and you can have it flipped over. That will cause the servo to not get any signal.
