While doing some test flights last night for a shot I was supposed to be doing today I had my tail go out. Was low and just hovering so while I was able to slow it down I wasn't able to save it. I doing think it should be over $200 in parts to get flying again (not counting blades). Damage looks pretty minimal as it hit the ground level then tipped because it was rotating. I would fix it then sell but I don't have the time right now. I figured I would post it here so you guys had a shot at it in case anyone was interested.

I am letting it go for $2000 plus shipping. Its ready to go once repaired. Includes everything except the camera because I am holding onto that.

It should be a cheap fix, low altitude and low impact speed. I was only 20-30 feet up when it went out.

Quote from a PM from Blake,
It was a star horn with about 20 minutes of flight time on it, usually ran the wheel on it. I had rebuilt the 9254 on the tail the previous week because the gears were pretty well stripped. I was afraid the wheel shaped servo horn could have been stripped as well so I was running the star until I could find a wheel.
My only crash last year was also caused by a star horn breaking on a 9256 servo with a 611 gyro on my gasser.

And is exactly why we recommend a round wheel.......

If you look at his gallery, one of the photo show the servo horn is broken.

Yup it was the horn. I usually ran the wheel but when the gears in the servo were stripped I was afraid the gears in the wheel might be as well so I went with the horn. Looks like that was a bad move.
