I'm selling my Aerial Photography setup. I don't have the time to do this right and I could use the money to help pay for my tuition next semester.
The helicopter is a Bergen Gasser Extended Boom with the Zenoah G26 engine. Engine has had 3-4 gallons of 50:1 of Ozark white gas through it. Starts easy and runs great. The helicopter crashed last night while I was doing some test flights and final adjustments on the AP2000i. The crash was a result of a broken control horn on the tail. I was able slow the helicopters speed before it hit the ground but it still tipped over and broke the blades. There are also a few bent things in the head (flybar, control arms). I don't think it will cost more than $200 in parts to fix anything broken.
The helicopter has Hirobo weighted paddles and flybar weights to help stabilize the ship for aerial photo/video work. AP2000i installed and works wonderfully, I have used it on a couple jobs and it makes shooting solo a lot easier. Duralite 4000 mah 7.4 volt battery pack and regulator is installed which usually allowed me 6-8 tanks between charges. Installed electronics are 4x 9252 on cyclic and throttle, 401/9254 on tail.
Controller is the Futaba 9CHPS PCM on channel 43. Not very much time on it so it is very clean. Still has the plastic protection on the screen. It is all programmed and setup for this helicopter with the AP2000i. I will talk the buyer through how it is setup but it is very intuitive and works well if you are shooting solo or with a second person. The box is included, its very heavy duty and keeps the radio protected. Has one opening for the radio and one for chargers or a camera.
The canopy was involved in a crash and the paint needs some work. A quick respray and it would look much better. A new canopy for this ship is $75 unpainted.
Camera mount is a Airfoil Helicam unit. M1 carbon with servo operated pan and tilt. Its in good shape as well, was not on the helicopter at the time of the crash.
Down link is a Black Widow AV unit setup to display on a 7" panasonic portable DVD player. The DVD player has about a 5 hour battery life and the down link equipment runs off a motorcycle battery. I don't plan on including the battery because its heavy and would be expensive to ship. You can pick one up at any place that carries car batteries. The on board down link equipment is a BWAV camera with a standard and 19 degree lens. Transmitter runs off 5-9.6 volts, I will include a receiver battery pack that I usually run it on.
The aluminum thing with the camera and the servo on it fits a Rebel XT very nicely. I will include it if you would like.
A couple things I didn't mention but you'll see in the pictures. Futaba 9252 servo, carried this as a spare. Used once for about two hours, works good and is pretty much new. AP2000i download cable for fast updates to the newest software. Duralite charger, simple but works good and is a good safe way to charge the duralites. Two spark plugs for the Zenoah G26. Two tail push rods and one tail support rod. Slightly used main shaft, this was a spare and was used for a day worth of flying at a funfly last summer.
This is around $3500 worth of equipment, I'm letting it go for $2000 because I don't have the time to use it and I need the money for school. Keep in mind you would pay about $2000 for the Helicopter and the downlink equipment alone. I am NOT splitting this up unless I get no good offers by next friday.
