I just flew my new Trex today and it is very smooth. Really like how it flies.
It is a little twitchy in hover and I am thinking maybe I have too much head speed.
I wonder if you could share your pitch and throttle curves or have any other suggestions on set up to help.
I am able to fly it smoothly, but have to stay right on top of the sticks. It is obviously very capable of very responsive flight.
Thanks for your help.

expo

Add some expo into your settings. It helps the center of your sticks to be smoother and not so touchy....but don't lower your head speed...!!
also, all pitch curves differ. you need to get atleast 10/10 I prefer 12/12 or more, and get a pitch gauge!!!you'll need it if you want proper setup. And your throttle settings depend on if your flying in gov mode or not..if you are set them somewhere around 85-85-85-....and if your flying in fixed like me. I fly like 90-85-80-75-80-85-90....you'll have to tinker a bit to suit your flying capabilities..Good luck and the new v2 flies awesome hey..I just got one...

Thanks dmk, I do have a pitch gauge and your right, this little things flies very well. I was really surprised at how smooth it is, not jerky and unstable like a friends I flew a while back. Plenty of power as well.
Thanks for sharing your throttle setting with me. I see you are running about 75% at center stick and I am running 50%, that might make a difference for me. I will be using more expo and will play little with the curves.
Biggest problem I am having is it requires a lite touch when landing as I slow down, it reaches a point where it will go down very quickly with just a very slght stick movement.
Thanks again.

pitch curves

Make sure your pitch curves are linear near center stick. You should only have to adjust the ends for correct pitch. If that doesn't help you then buy some gorilla landing gear. It helps with hard landings...Good luck
