This is pretty much the same thing as people flying 90 size heli's in there living room, or doing other stupid things. Period. Proper steps need to be taken to protect the public for all demos. NAPA (as the sponsor) is going to get their a$$es sued off, and they totally should.

Sad. No one was killed though right? Thank god!

This hobby is like Kryptonite to chicks!

Got to thin out the Darwin Award candidates somehow.

"You can't fix stupid!"

Unfortunate that too many times, people come to the realization something is dangerous after they do it instead of before.

I have HAD friends with bullet bikes that did this way to often.

Sounds like his throttle got stuck after the car crush. He probably did everything he could to get it away from the croud.

Still... dumb!

Wait..what!?!?! No, that can't be!

I remember seeing a video several years ago on one of those "most amazing" type shows and it showed a monster truck running amock in a stadium. The truck drove right up and over the walls and into the crowd. Those things are absolutely insane!

Stupidity can be cured. Ignorance is for life!

You just have to remember, those silly warning labels on everything are there because someone has tried it. Like the man said, you cant fix stupid.

There's usually a disclaimer on the ticket which states that the ticketholder is attending the event at their own risk and the venue or sponsors incur no legal responsibility for damage to property or person.

That generally alleviates big lawsuits.

However, certain attorneys will move forward anyway.

Only if reasonable attempts are made to ensure the safety of those attending. Time will tell but I bet someone will have to pay up, that is the nature of our society now.
