HI ,Guys. I bought a new rear Stainless Ceramic bearing for my OS 61 SX-H (the Retainer Material is Nylon) which way does it go in IE : the side that you can see the balls faces forward or to the back???..

Nylon Retainer? Really? I guess I never paid that much attention to the bearings when I changed them. I would think that it would not work inside an engine.

Yep it has a Nylon Retainer and the bearing is for a OS61. now that you said it does ANYONE know if the Nylon Retainer would be ok or would it crack or melt Lol.

Just thinking out loud here, but the nylon retainer would be on the incoming fuel air side so it should stay relatively cool as opposed to the rear or opposite side of the bearing. No???

The "plastic" retainers are the only way to go to avoid fatigue of the retainer. (they are not Nylon but rather TH9 or THB)
