Hey guys,

I just picked up an Align Li-po set-up and remote glow driver for my R30. I'm running all 6V compatible servos except for the tail (9253). Everyone has been out of stock on the align 5.1V step-down regulator so instead I bought one from Western-Robotics as shown here http://www.readyheli.com/Western_Ro..._p/wrl-stvr.htm

I'm just wondering if this is the correct regulator in order to properly provide the lower voltage to the tail servo. I'm planning on flying tommorrow so I'm hoping someone can give me a quick reply. I've probed the Rx, and it is getting about 5.9 volts, and I probed the step down and it is getting about 5.4volts. Is this stepped down enough?

Yes
5.4Vdc is fine.
A 4.8Vdc battery will easily reach 5.8+Vdc when fully charged.
