It will be impossible to say until the Vibe is released.

JR makes great helis....But the 50 Vibe is going to have to weigh much less than the Skipper to be a match for the Nrex.

Any opinion about which one is going to fly better will be pure speculation unless it comes from one of the few that have seen/flown the Vibe 50.

I would have to second that. only those who have seen/flown then both could tell you the real truth.

we all need a support group. "Hi my name is Richard and I'm a heli addict." 0000001

Who cares, unless you're flying at a pro level, either machine will do you just fine.

I think the Vibe 50 will be just as capable as the trex600n, so I would wait and see...

Considering, as of two weeks ago even the JR pilots in the states havent seen a V50 yet, it would be pretty hard to make a comparision.

I think it's safe to say it will be much higher quality than the 600n. With both priced at $600 w/ TT and fiberglass canopy I don't see picking the 600n over the Vibe50. The only advantage the 600n may have is parts price but from the reports I've seen so far it's not very durable in a crash. As far as weight my 600n weighed in at 7lbs 11oz with normal equipment (9451, 611, 6oz battery, MP5) so I don't think weight will be an issue with the Vibe.

Don't forget the Vibe 50 is still under development, so prices may change.

Since it's already posted on the Horizon website for $599 I doubt it will change much if any at all.

Yep, they moved the release date back from mid summer to Nov. Maybe it's tied to the Auroura relase?

It looks great. If it makes weight it will fly well. The problem will be parts support and cost. JR hasn't gotten past the gauge and screw model on their helis.

I'd love to own one, but won't unless they can be a lot more competitive. If I'm getting reamed I'm gonna run an AVRO, Roxxter, or a Heinslett. Something where the suffering is worth it. If they could come in at 6.5lbs I'd just suck it up and pay what their askin

Plus the LHS has a HUGE wall of Align stuff, the JR section sucks and costs double... that is a problem.

A rear tank JR. Isn't that a first? Because of the servo stagger on the JR the engine looks like it sits farther from the blades than an NREX. Be interesting to see how that measures out and whether it meaningfully effects flight.
