Oh no, Seattle is becoming Aerial Photography headquarters. Which is supprising considering it rains all the time

Welcome back mate, There are a lot of places to fly in the aera. I am a member of Hot Start Helis in Olympia. http://www.hotstartheli.com/

There is also the RAMS in Kent/Auburn http://www.seattlerams.com/

And the closest to you might be Cascade in Lynnwood http://www.cascademodelheli.org/

Hope this helps. And keep out of the Eastside!! All the Eastside belongs to kiwidave!!!!

What Dave said. I'll also add Marymoore park in Redmond but it's not a prime choice for flying. The nick name of Scarymoore should sum that up.

Just to amplyify scarymoore -- the plane hobbiests have disdain for heli flyers.

HOwever it's on my way home from work, so I do fly there from time to time and just ignore the plane fliers.

Marymoore- it's not that bad is it?

I fly primarily in this park. It is not exclusive to airplanes, is frequency controlled, and has setup tables.

I personally haven't experienced any of the hatred, but then again, I try to fly between their flights, not fly over the runway when there are planes in the air.

It's not the ideal for helis, but it is a place to fly.

One last question, what hobby shops have the best prices on 30% nitro? Currently where i live Awesome Hobbies in Nor cal sells fuel at cost to bring people into the shop. a gallon of 30% is 18$

Any places like that in the kirkland/seattle area.
