I know there has to be a topic on this already but I could find one. I have a trex 450 se v2, gy 401 , and futaba 9ch. I read some radio setup for the trex and set my radio at 70 and 70. When I spool up the whole heli shakes bad. I am scared to take the gyro values any lower. What could be wrong?

Need a little more info:
1) does the whole heli wobble?
2) or does it the head go back and forth?

#1 is due to the blades not being centered(180 out from one another), and or not balanced.

#2 is due to the gain being to high.

If it is just wobbling, chances are you blades are not 180 out from one another, this should clear itself up as the blades spin up, as long as the blade grips are not to tight.

The whole heli wobbles left to right, really bad. The blades are carbon, would they need to be balanced? How can the blades not be 180 deg from each other? The gain is at 50%.

if it is one degree off, it will shake. I usually get it pretty close, mine shakes initially but then goes away.

Yes unbalacned blades will make it shake. What kind of blades are they?

You keep mentioning the gain?

Does it wobble, like a balancing issue or does the tail go left to right?

If you accidently mount a blade backward and one forward it will shake too!

zaneman007, I have carbon rotors. The tail is no longer the problem I had some help with that.

deathadder99, Thanks, I did notice an inital shake. I untightend the blade grips and that problem was fixed.

arffy, my heli is brand new, but I checked it anyway. It is fine.

TomRex, I dont think that is the problem. I have seen it done before though, man does it shake!

My only problem now is getting the rotors to track, but I will get that. Thanks for all your help.
