It's getting closer.

Here's a google map that might help too: Click here

Don, there should be plenty of room for campers, I'm pretty sure there will be some folks there by Friday with their campers. It's pretty much an open field parking lot, in the past campers have parked along the edge of the field, up against the treeline/creek. The trees offer some shade in the afternoon and evenings.

Flyin

It is Heli flyin only.
as far as camping there is plenty of room. There are several people planning on camping as far as I know thus far. Most campers each year have camped to the left when coming int he driveway back along the creek line against the trees but there is plenty of room for camping.
Thanks
Chris

cool on the heli flying, how many helis will be in the air at any one time. I ask this because at the local field here, people seem only to fly one at a time, which is fine since the club is small and few people show up and any one time.

Man, I miss the eighties.

The flight stations are normally spread out quite a bit for the heli funfly, four or five helis in the air simultaneously is pretty comfortable.

The local HobbyTown USA will probably have Wildcat YP 30% fuel on hand to sell, but I doubt he'll bring much inventory. Bob and Becky of B&B hobbies are supposed to be coming to the event. My understanding is that it takes them a while to setup their entire inventory as they did at IRCHA, so they may just have a small table set up but will have their inventory available, just not all out on display.

Folks are starting to show up and roll in. There's several campers already here. Weather's good and the forecast looks good. Turns out some of the folks here can cook as well as they fly.

If your not coming you are going to miss a great event. There are already 4 campers set up and more to come. B&B hobbies are here and have plenty of kits and parts. So "Bring it".

I'm pretty sure they do carry a good assortment of Hirobo parts. Today we were discussing some Hirobo bearings that they carry in stock.
