Ok, so who's done this before? I figure that if I leave the balance tap for bank 1 alone, then remove and heatshrink the common wire, (the black one,)from the tap to bank 2, then shift the next three wires on that tap over, I should be golden. What do you think?

Current configuration:

Bank 1 Bank 2
Pins 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 5 6
Color B W BL O B W BL O Y R

Proposed:

Bank 1 Bank 2
Pins 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 4 5 6
Color B W BL O W BL O X X X
Volts 3.7 7.5 11.3 15.2 19.0 22.8 NC NC NC
(voltages measured from Bank 1 pin 1)

(I guess text formatting is not retained in the displayed post... Sorry.)

I use a blinky on my TP 6S pks . Starting with the 4 wire plug , start with black wire calling it #1 then #2,#3,#4 gets plugged into the blk side of the blinky , that will cover the first 4 terminals on the blinky , then go to the next bal plug on the pack . Get out your microscope because you'll need it to see the numbers on the plug , your going to use the 2,3,4, wires to complete the rest of the terminals on the blinky . I bought 2 TP to blinky adapters and cut them down so I have a 4 wire plug and a 3 wire plug . Install them into the pack and then plug your blinky in . I used 2 12" servo extensions with 1 single wire added to make my balance adapter cord .

Give me a yell if you need anymore help on this !!!

Thanks for the confirmation, Krasht. I just completed one charge and balance cycle and it works great. What I did was move all of the taps from cells 1-6 onto the TP 6 pin plug, and left the first ground tap on the 4 pin plug. Then I plugged the ground into pin 1 of the Blinky and then the 6 pin plug, via the TP adapter, into the Blinky, oriented cells 1-6. I have heat-shrinked the bank 2 ground wire and the remaining 2 unused wires from the 6 pin plug, (what are those other 2 conductors for? They carry no voltage.)

Anyway, thanks again for sharing. And I was afraid I had to drop another $100 on the 210!

I'm not sure what the other 2 conductors are . I know the feeling about dropping another 100 after you had to steal from the kids college funds to afford batteries . There's always more than 1 way to skin a cat !!!!
